The men’s residential program is designed to help encourage the students to be responsible, starting with the simplest areas of his life (eating and sleeping right, personal hygiene and outlook) We also address the most complex areas as well (education, emotional stability, social re-integration, spiritual life, developmental skills and abilities).

The program provides a much-needed family atmosphere and has a professional approach to enhance self-worth and self-sufficiency. This program takes one giant step in breaking the cycle of addiction, crime, domestic violence and the street life style.

The duration of the program
The 1 year Men Residential Program is broken up in 5 phases.
The Recuperation is based on Christian principles, values and teaching. This is the key of the proven success of Teen Challenge. (86% success rate)
Teen Challenge is an organization with an activity of over 50 years, and is spread in over 82 countries, being one of the most successful recovery programs for people with dependence problems.

There are rules and a balanced schedule. The daily activities of the students consist of attending classes (there is a well structured curriculum, which is the essence of the program), work projects (special projects or center maintenance handled by students), sport activities and chapel attendance. The students also attend a weekly church service.
The students will leave the residential recovery program with marketable skills and a future to provide for themselves and/or their families.
The Center has a capacity of 20 students.
We have a waiting list of young men that want to enter into the Recovery Center, and the requests are growing every week.
Conditions to be accepted in the program:
A Desire and strong motivation to get out of dependence. The person with dependence needs to have the desire, just not his family.
A good condition of health which can allow program attendance. Teen Challenge is not a medical or disintoxication program, but a post treatment program.
The costs of the program: For the moment, the program is cost free. The parents and the family are asked to contribute financially (financial donation) or materially (food, cleaning supplies, etc) as they are able.
For each donation, a donation form will be filled out containing specifying the donation made.
Absolutely all the donations made will be use to cover the program expenses (food, maintenance, other supplies needed) and will not be destined to cover the personal wages or other expenses related to this.
The help of the family or the absence of this, will not affect the quality of the relations or the services offered by Teen Challenge Romania to its beneficiaries. But the family involvement can be a positive factor in the evolution of our recovery activities. Teen Challenge Romania is a nongovernmental organization and sustains all activity through the generous donations of juridical and individual donors.
